Ocean-Park@08

My best buddy and her family came to HK for a vacation about 3 weeks ago. As one of the get-together activities, we went to Ocean Park together.

We used to be a frequent visitor to Ocean Park, but didn't go there for nearly 2 years by now. Therefore, I was as thrill as the boys and we have counted for that day to come together.

OP is in heavy construction these days. When everything is done, there will be 2 resort hotels added to the Park. Personally, I don't think this is a good time to visit the park because of the mess. Perhaps the authority aware of this fact too, so, they offer 30% discount to all of the HK residents with a valide ID card.

Saw some fake hot air balloons, something new, but nothing is too fascinated about it.

This time, we wanted to visit the panda bears. And hopefully, it won't be too crowded to visit the sea jelly aquarium, as past years did.

This is An-An. Lucky I, managed to get a super duber good spot to take a real close up look at him.

He must be very hungry, that he munched a hell lot of bamboo leaves like nobody business, totally ignored the spectators who stared at him at such a close distance.

Look who is the center of attraction here?

He too, wants to take a picture with the lovely panda bear.

Whoever stands near to the panda's icon will look cute, here's a good example.

He commented the purple flowers are so beautiful, that I must take a photo for him. Sure, honey.

Our favourite has always been the cable car ride.

Yeah, ride it a thousand times, they still feel excited as if it's their 1st time.

Even in a gloomy day, the scenery down there is spectacular.

We met SY and the rest of the gangs at the other side of the OP. SY and I have been good friend since uni time, and we have kept each other's company for many good and bad time all these years. Some friends, they meant to be forever, and she is the one for me.

Having 3 small children tagged along in the trip, I believe that's enough to make her and her hubby busy and tired as slaves. Some more, it's OP, one of the most crowded tourist attraction that we choose to go. So, can't said it's relaxing for the adults, but mostly to please the young kids. No wonder she announced that she doesn't want to go for a trip with young children anymore after that. Just before I forget that, I saw her and the kids and the hubby had flew to Langkawi Island for another vacation again just recently...emm.

This 2 boys like each other at first sight. They get along so well like old friends the whole trip.

As for this little boy, he prefer my company throughout the whole trip.

He is still a bit short and small to try out wild swing like this one.

Not for Vincent, he dares to take it all by himself.

He really enjoy the swing with all his heart.

For him, this is the must-play game, to satisfy his imagination of becoming a fire fighter.

He played it twice that day.

While the gangs went to watch the dolphin show, we went to watch the sea jelly instead. Didn't get to see them for the past several visitation cause the queue outside there was so long. This time, we were lucky. Or maybe everyone had gone to watch the dolphin show?

There isn't any introduction board next to this, I doubt if it is a jelly fish too?

This one, without a single doubt...

Truly a beautiful creature.

There is really something about jelly fish, all because they are so transparent and see-through. Shine them with any color, and they will be that color, just in a split second.

Yeah, I second it. Wipe out pollution, please. I have get sick with the poison foods and the poison drinks these day.

The Whisker show we used to watch last time was a stage performance given by a smart seal. Now, it becomes a clown show. WTH, I felt cheated. Anyway, the boys seem to enjoy it very much. They even line up to want to take pictures with them. At a quick glance, I think this picture is quite similar to the below one...

Wishing you peace and joy this festive season. Merry Christmas !

Thanks, my best friend. I was so touched to read how you describe our friendship till my eyes welled up. And the feeling is truly mutual, we had gone through not only good times, but in bad as well.

Yeah, that time in OP, I think I was too exhausted after days of endless walking and caring for these 3, coupled with the crazy crowd that day, we didn't have much "quality time" and an enjoyable dinner together to end our trip. Hopefully, next time I'll do it better. With the children more grown up, we should be able to, I believe.

Sure, no problem.

When the kids get big enough, maybe we can arrange an all girl trip, ditch the kids at home. What do you say? (hehe...)
