My name is also William Chin, just like your son. I happened to visit your son's blog when I was searching for my name on the internet.
It really surprises me to note your dedication for both of your sons. The blog entries are really sweat. I think this is one of the best present you can ever give to your loves ones ~~the memory of the very early childhood~~
And I am very impressed with your dentition record for Vincent. Amazing!!
Another surprise I got is that I find out Hong Kong people also use the expression of "..mah.." and "..lah.." in the conversation, as quoted from your conversation with William about where he came from before birth. I always thought that this expression is unique in Malaysia ( I am a Chinese from Malaysia, who also speaks hakka~~ ). In Malaysia, the expression of "..lah" is often used in English writing due to the influence of the Malay Language and Chinese language "啦“.
So all the while I thought that you are Malaysian. Even the photo of two of your sons bathing near the gate (refer to Photo gallery 3 of William's blog) looks like taking place in Malaysia because the road system, the dustbin system and the rooftop are so similar!
I only realize that you are from Hong Kong when I see the birthday celebration which you have to pay HKD200 as deposit.

I feel very honourable to know that you take time to read some of the entries that I've made for my sons. I hope they would love their blog and able to share it with their friends and loves one later on.
You are right. I am indeed a Malaysian, so does my husband and my sons (though they were born in HK).
We have moved to HK since 1996. Since then, sort of build our life here. But deep inside, I'm still a Malaysian. And I do talk like a Malaysian some of the times.
FYI, local HK people don't use 'mah' 'la' 'kah' at the end of their sentence. That's why they can figure out I'm not a local people when I use those expression unconciously.
